Author J.K. Rowling was at a book signing where she read a little from her final book. After the brief reading she took a few questions from fans in attendance. One fan asked if Dumbledore finds true love. The author replied, "Dumbledore is gay."
Note: Don't continue reading if you don't want to hear things that go on in the final book. I repeat. Don't continue if you don't want to hear things that go on in the final book.
She then explained that Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald whom he defeated long ago in a battle between good and bad wizards. "Falling in love can blind us to an extent," Rowling said of Dumbledore's feelings, adding that Dumbledore was "horribly, terribly let down. Dumbledore's love was his great tragedy." I don't know why she said that D is gay? It seems like she just did it to be contraversial. If D was gay and it was important why didn't she write more about it in the books? Why didn't she write more aobut the relationship. If indeed she had always planned for him to be gay, which I doubt then she didn't say anything until now, because of one reason $$$$. Which makes me really piisssed!
maybe she was trying to get the book back to #1 or something.
